As a consultant here, you’re part of a team – but how you work can vary. Some like working solo, others in smaller groups or on in-house projects at our offices. We’ve got assignments with real technical depth, and you might find yourself doing anything from building smart interfaces and system solutions to leading projects. Together, we’ll match you with assignments that fit your skills, interests, and goals.

HiQ Mälardalen has four offices – Västerås, Örebro, and Borlänge – which is why we regularly get together at fun locations to mix a bit of work with a lot of good vibes. The Recruitment Process
Whether you’re applying for a specific role or just sending in an open application – you’re very welcome! Feel free to include your CV, email address, and phone number so we can easily get in touch with you.
After an initial review of your application, one of our recruiters will reach out for a first, short phone call. It’s a chance to align expectations and see if there’s a potential match.
If we see that your profile matches our needs, we’ll schedule an interview with a consultant manager and a sales representative. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other better and explore how you could contribute to our team.
For some roles, a technical test may be part of the process to verify your skills in a specific area.
If everything feels right so far, we’ll move on to a second interview. This might be with a recruiter, consultant manager, or sales representative – depending on the role and situation.
We’re getting close to the finish line! We’ll contact your references and, if needed, carry out a background check to make sure everything lines up.
If everything falls into place, it’s time to make you an offer. We’re genuinely excited to welcome you to HiQ and kick off this new adventure together!
Community
At HiQ Mälardalen, we’re more than just colleagues – we’re a community that puts well-being and development front and center. There’s something here for everyone, from yoga and lunchtime workouts with a personal trainer to tech talks, quizzes, and our shared health initiative GoHealth, which takes place twice a year with a focus on wellness and togetherness.
We also know how to have fun – both in simple everyday ways and during bigger celebrations. It could be anything from Friday hangouts with a chip-tasting session to just sticking around after work to catch up with teammates. For our consultants out at client sites, it’s a great way to reconnect with the HiQ home base.
