What attracted you to HiQ, and what makes you enjoy working here today?
When I started looking for jobs in my hometown of Eskilstuna, after two years in Stockholm, I saw several interesting postings from HiQ on LinkedIn. That, combined with recommendations from a friend, gave me a very positive impression of the company. It made me want to give the consulting role another try, and shortly after I was invited to an interview. During the interview I immediately felt that the environment and atmosphere at HiQ were welcoming – it felt like coming home. That feeling has stayed with me, and that’s why I’ve chosen to stay.
Can you tell us about an assignment through HiQ that has been particularly educational or exciting?
One assignment that was both challenging and rewarding was working on HiMacs. It was a type of project I had never encountered before, which made it especially valuable for my development. We had an engaged team that pushed the project forward together and managed to deliver a really strong end product. It was inspiring to see how we could solve complex problems as a team.
How would you describe the team spirit and culture here?
“Easy-going” is probably the best way to describe it. I’ve always felt like I fit in and can be myself in the team. The culture at HiQ is inclusive and relaxed, creating a positive work environment where people thrive.
What inspires you most in your work right now?
What inspires me the most is the non-prestigious culture. It’s okay not to know everything, and it’s okay to ask questions – which makes it easier to grow. That openness and understanding from colleagues creates a positive atmosphere and makes even tough moments into something you can learn from.
Share something about yourself that your colleagues might not know!
Something many people might not know is that I have a big interest in interior design. Even though I don’t have a formal education in the field, I really enjoy exploring different styles, color combinations, and ways to create a cozy environment. It’s something I’d love to learn more about in the future – maybe even study at some point. For me, interior design is a way to express creativity and create balance in everyday life.
