HiQ entrusted with strengthening the Swedish central bank’s digital infrastructure

HiQ has been selected as a supplier under the Riksbank’s framework agreement for consultancy services, providing experts in payment market infrastructure and IT management. The agreement gives HiQ a key role in strengthening and future-proofing the digital infrastructure underpinning Sweden’s financial system.

–  We are very pleased to have been given this trust. Financial digital infrastructure is an area where the demands for security, stability and the ability to adapt are constantly increasing. For HiQ, this is an assignment where our experience of critical digital environments can truly make a difference, says Peter Arrhenius, CEO of HiQ.

As digital development continues to transform the payments market and place new demands on financial infrastructure, the need for digitalisation, security and quality is also increasing.

HiQ has extensive experience in developing and quality-assuring complex financial systems and payment infrastructures for public authorities and leading organisations in the financial sector. The new framework agreement runs for four years, until the end of 2029.

–  We are proud to contribute to the Riksbank’s important work to future-proof the digital infrastructure underpinning Sweden’s financial system. Quality, reliability and security are critical in this area, and this is where HiQ’s technical expertise and understanding of complex organisations really come into their own, says David Sandberg, Head of Public Sector and Finance at HiQ.
