HiQ recognized as a leading creator of customer value in Radar study
What sets IT providers that truly create value apart from the rest of the market? In Radar’s Supplier Quality 2026 – Sweden’s largest quantitative study of customer-perceived quality and customer value in the IT market – HiQ is highlighted as one of the providers perceived to deliver strong operational, tactical and strategic value to its customers during 2025.
Radar’s annual supplier quality assessment is based on evaluations from more than 1,300 Swedish organizations. Within consulting services (regional/integrators), HiQ is one of five providers that, in no particular order, are perceived by customers as creating strong operational, tactical and strategic value throughout 2025.
“For us, this is a clear confirmation that the way we work closely with our customers makes a real difference in practice. Combining deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of our customers’ business goals and challenges is crucial to creating long-term value – especially in a more uncertain world,” says Peter Arrhenius, CEO of HiQ.
This year’s results indicate that customers are increasingly looking for providers that can act as proactive and reliable partners.
“Radar Supplier Quality 2026 shows that customers, despite uncertainty and lower satisfaction overall, reward providers that deliver strong fundamentals with high quality. This underlines the value of strong, proactive partnerships – and makes leading providers even more attractive compared to the market average,” says Janko Lind, CEO of Radar.
Radar Supplier Quality 2026 was published in January 2026 and is based on data collected during 2025. In addition to HiQ, Axians, Knowit, Nexer and Sopra Steria are highlighted by Radar in the same category, listed in alphabetical order.

After several decades with the same payroll system, Region Östergötland faced a major need for modernization. With support from HiQ, the region carried out one of the most significant initiatives in its digital HR transformation – the implementation of a completely new, integrated HR ecosystem for scheduling, payroll, HR master data, travel expenses and reimbursements.
As the transformation began, the region chose to open the door to new providers. Through a negotiated procurement process, a supplier previously not active in the regional market was selected – enabling a solution that better matched operational needs and supported new technical capabilities and modern ways of working. A step aligned with the broader digitalisation trend currently shaping the public sector.
HiQ’s project manager led the entire journey – from requirements gathering and procurement to implementation and rollout. With proactive leadership, clear communication and strong change management, the project fostered engagement, transparency and confidence during a period marked by uncertainty. Close dialogue with the organization and a clear focus on usability ensured a smooth transition and broad support across the region.
The result is a modern, efficient, and future-proof HR ecosystem that strengthens Region Östergötland’s digital capabilities within HR IT. The project has also been nominated for HR System Project of the Year 2024/2025 in HerbertNathan & Co’s annual survey of HR and payroll systems – a testament to its ability to create real value through digital transformation and human drive.

Svenska kraftnät has introduced several new measures to create a more stable price formation in the Swedish balancing market. Behind parts of the technical development is HiQ, which has contributed to developing the automation required as the power grid becomes more heavily utilised – and as production varies with the availability of sun and wind.
Read the full announcement from Svenska kraftnät here.
The changes are being implemented to adapt the balancing process to a power system with greater imbalances and faster changes in grid flows. With the transition to 15-minute time resolution, it becomes easier to use more resources – for example batteries, demand response, and solar and wind power. At the same time, this places high demands on advanced automation within the market’s systems.
To meet these demands, Svenska kraftnät has made changes to the balancing process and further developed the national bid selector, introducing new functions aimed at reducing price fluctuations and contributing to a more stable price formation.
HiQ has played a key role in the development of the new automated balancing system – an important step towards a more efficient and robust power system.
“Assignments like this show how crucial software is for creating a robust power system that can handle both variations in electricity demand and unexpected strains. It’s not just about technology, it’s about building solutions that strengthen society’s most critical functions,” says David Sandberg, Head of Public Sector at HiQ.

Kammarkollegiet has once again selected HiQ as a framework agreement supplier for IT security. The new agreement enables government agencies and other public sector organizations across Sweden to procure HiQ’s expertise in a domain that is critical to protecting vital infrastructure and essential digital systems.
HiQ is one of the suppliers awarded a framework agreement following a procurement process conducted by Kammarkollegiet in spring 2025. The objective of the procurement is to meet the growing need for cybersecurity expertise at a time when the digitalization of essential services places increasing demands on security, resilience, and availability.
“Kammarkollegiet’s renewed trust in HiQ shows that we continue to meet the high standards required in this field. We have a long-standing track record of building and securing technical solutions that play a crucial role in the functioning of society,” says Pernilla Rönn, Head of Cybersecurity at HiQ.
For three decades, HiQ has worked with complex digital development for both public and private sector clients – often in environments where technology must be robust and reliable, whether supporting public services, critical infrastructure, or financial systems. The new framework agreement, which runs for up to four years starting in March 2026, covers the development and management of IT infrastructure and systems, as well as the implementation of technical security solutions. This includes, for example, information security, identity and access management, code review, risk analysis, GDPR-related advisory services, training, and the development of methods for continuous security management. The total maximum call-off value across the eight selected suppliers is SEK 700 million.
In addition to IT security, HiQ is also an approved supplier under several of Kammarkollegiet’s national framework agreements for digital consultancy services – including IT consultancy solutions, and architecture and development. This makes it easier for public sector organizations to coordinate their digital needs with a single partner that understands the bigger picture and takes end-to-end responsibility – from strategy and development to implementation and operations.
“We combine deep technical expertise with a holistic approach, making it easier for our clients to embrace the opportunities of digitalization in a secure and sustainable way. Being trusted again in such a critical area as IT security is a testament to our ability to meet the stringent demands placed on technology used in vital parts of society. It’s a growing responsibility – one we embrace with specialist competence and long-term commitment,” says Peter Arrhenius, CEO at HiQ.
