Anders Kullenberg has been appointed Head of AI at HiQ. With experience in AI-assisted software development and advanced technical systems, he will develop HiQ’s AI offering across the company’s markets.

The appointment strengthens HiQ’s position as a partner to organisations looking to turn AI into measurable business value, not least through advanced AI solutions and AI-assisted software development.

AI initiatives rarely fail because of the model itself, but because data, architecture, security, accountability and change management are not aligned. In his role as Head of AI, Anders will have overall responsibility for further developing HiQ’s AI offering and strengthening the company’s ability to meet customers’ growing needs within AI. The focus will be on translating business needs into technical solutions that can be integrated and scaled within customers’ operations.

A central part of the initiative is AI-assisted software development, where HiQ helps customers use AI to increase development speed, improve quality and create more efficient ways of working throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Anders Kullenberg joins the role from his most recent position as AI Lead in HiQ’s Mälardalen region. He has also previously held senior technical roles at companies including Volvo Group, Scania, Veoneer and Arriver.

HiQ has been selected as a supplier under the Riksbank’s framework agreement for consultancy services, providing experts in payment market infrastructure and IT management. The agreement gives HiQ a key role in strengthening and future-proofing the digital infrastructure underpinning Sweden’s financial system.

As digital development continues to transform the payments market and place new demands on financial infrastructure, the need for digitalisation, security and quality is also increasing.

HiQ has extensive experience in developing and quality-assuring complex financial systems and payment infrastructures for public authorities and leading organisations in the financial sector. The new framework agreement runs for four years, until the end of 2029.

HiQ is strengthening its Atlassian offering with the recruitment of Magnus Sundset and Armin Kardar. Both bring extensive experience from the Atlassian ecosystem, which includes products such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Trello. With this investment, HiQ is strengthening its ability to help customers generate greater business value from the Atlassian platform and improve the efficiency of their ways of working.

The investment combines HiQ’s specialist expertise in Atlassian products with experience in AI, cybersecurity, integration and complex software development. This gives customers better opportunities to develop their ways of working, strengthen their delivery capabilities and create long-term growth.

HiQ is already a Platinum Atlassian Solution Partner in Germany and Finland and has recently achieved the same partner status in Sweden. Platinum is Atlassian’s highest partner level and reflects HiQ’s experience and specialist expertise in the field. The new status strengthens HiQ’s position in the Swedish market and creates further opportunities to continue expanding its Atlassian offering.

Magnus Sundset to lead the initiative

Magnus Sundset will take a leading role in developing HiQ’s Atlassian offering in Sweden. He joins HiQ from Eficode, where he was responsible for a specialist area within Atlassian, focusing on IT Service Management.

Armin Kardar to lead the commercial efforts

Armin Kardar will be commercially responsible for HiQ’s Atlassian initiative in Sweden. He has more than ten years of experience in software sales and several years of experience within the Atlassian ecosystem.

HiQ is strengthening its focus on people, leadership and culture with the appointment of Ida Malmqvist as its new Chief People Officer. She brings extensive experience from the tech and consulting industries and will take up the role on 19 October, joining HiQ’s Group Management Team.

Ida Malmqvist will be tasked with strengthening HiQ’s work in people, culture and leadership, as well as further developing the company’s ability to attract, develop and retain the right talent. The appointment marks an important step in HiQ’s continued development as a tech consultancy, where people and culture are central to creating value together with clients.

As Chief People Officer, Ida Malmqvist will have overall responsibility for HiQ’s people agenda. The role includes leadership, recruitment, employer brand, learning and engagement, with a focus on creating the right conditions for employees and teams to grow and perform.

Ida Malmqvist joins HiQ from Inera, where she is Head of HR and a member of the company’s management team. She also has extensive experience from the consulting industry from her previous role at Netlight, as well as experience in developing growing organisations, with a focus on culture, leadership and talent supply.
