A digital car wash store consolidated on St1.fi
Previously, the car wash store operated on a separate website. As a result, customers had to navigate between different platforms, which made the process confusing. Today everything is integrated under St1.fi – including wash codes, receipts, purchase history, and user details. By consolidating into one platform, St1 made the customer journey easier and streamlined operations.
Microservice architecture for scalable e-commerce
St1 replaced its old monolithic system with a microservice-based architecture. This active step created a platform that is flexible, scalable, and ready for future business needs. In addition, the new architecture allows the team to add and adjust features quickly whenever requirements change.
Headless solution with Nuxt3 and Contentful CMS
The new platform relies on a headless front-end built with Nuxt3 and Contentful CMS for content management. Along with St1’s design system, these tools speed up development and ensure consistency across services.
With Contentful CMS and a shared design system, development becomes both faster and simpler. Components can be reused across multiple services, and thanks to the solution’s multichannel capability, the same backend works seamlessly across all platforms. Integration was also a key factor. Payment solutions and product information were seamlessly connected, resulting in a smooth shopping experience for customers and easier management for St1.
